Free job application tracker

Track every application. Prepare for every interview.

Keep every job you apply for in one place, from applied to offer. Myskillgrid shows how ready you are for each job from your own interview scores, and plans what to practise every day until the interview.

  • Free on every plan
  • Only you see your applications
  • Works on your phone

What it does

A tracker that knows your skills

A spreadsheet tells you where each application stands. This also tells you what to do about it.

Readiness for each job

Every application is measured against its own job's skills, from the scores of your mock interviews, so you know where you stand before you walk in.

A plan until the interview

Add the interview date and get one thing to do each day: your weakest skills first, then a timed mock interview. A reminder comes the evening before.

Reads the job post

Paste the job post to see which of the job's skills it stresses. They count double in your readiness for it. Nothing is sent to an AI.

Where you stop

How many applications got shortlisted, reached interviews and became offers, with a plain note on where yours end and which source works best for you.

After every round

Turn what they asked into practice

Write down the questions while you remember them and pick the skill each was about. Then practise that skill for that job in a short drill, so the next round finds you ready.

  • Practise for any application's job, not only your main one
  • "How did it go?" after the date, with one tap to the next round, an offer or a no
  • A polite follow-up nudge when an application waits two weeks without news

How it works

Three steps

  1. 01

    Add the job

The company and the job title, from 900+ jobs in every field. Everything else can come later.

  2. 02

    Add the interview date

Get a practice plan until then and a reminder the evening before.

  3. 03

    Practise what it needs

Short drills on that job's weakest skills, and a timed mock interview the day before.

For institutes: placements, with your students' consent

Students in your batches can choose to share how their applications are going: how many they applied for, how far each got and where they got an offer. Off unless they turn it on.

Questions

The tracker, answered

Is the job application tracker free?

Yes, on every plan, including the free one, with no limit you would reach in a job search (up to 200 applications). Only the practice drills and mock interviews you start from it use your interview credits, the same as anywhere else in Myskillgrid.

How is this different from a spreadsheet or a general tracker?

A spreadsheet tells you where each application stands. Myskillgrid also tells you how ready you are for each job, from your own interview scores on that job's skills, plans what to practise every day until a booked interview, reminds you the evening before, and turns the questions they asked into practice.

Does it read the job post with AI?

No. Paste the job post and Myskillgrid finds the job's skills it names, in code, on our side. The skills it mentions count double in your readiness for that application. The post is never sent to an AI.

Who can see my applications?

Only you. If you are in an institute's batch, you can choose to let that institute see how many jobs you applied for since joining, how far each got and the company of any offer, to help with your placement. It is off unless you turn it on, never includes your notes or the other companies, and stops the moment you turn it off or leave the batch.

Which jobs does it work for?

Any of the job titles Myskillgrid prepares you for, from software and data to banking, nursing and teaching. Each application is measured against its own job's skills, so you can track and practise for different jobs at the same time.
