How is this different from other AI mock interview apps?
Many AI mock interview apps give a good report for each session, but each session stands on its own. Myskillgrid keeps your progress skill by skill across sessions, scores every answer the same way so your scores are comparable, and shows the answers behind every score. The goal is not one good session but measurable improvement before your real interview.
How does the mock interview work?
Choose an interview type and a mode. Questions are written for your job title and experience. Speak your answers, as in a real interview (Chrome and Edge), or type them if you prefer. Questions use English that matches your experience, simple for freshers, and in untimed interviews and practice drills you can see each question in your own language. Untimed mode has no time limit; Real interview mode gives 2 minutes per question. You get a question-by-question report at the end, where you can retry any question.
What do the paid packs include, and do they expire?
Each pack is a one-time payment for a set number of full mock interviews, practice sessions, resume rewrites and reviews. Credits last 30 days from your latest purchase, and buying another pack extends them all. Nothing renews automatically, and a pack you haven't used can be refunded within 7 days.
Do I get a certificate, and can employers check it?
Yes. Every skill you answer at 70% or more in a scored interview goes on your certificate of skill assessment, with the level you reached, your name (as you choose), the job, your readiness and a credential ID. Add it to your LinkedIn profile or post it on WhatsApp Status, and download it once your interview readiness reaches 80%. Anyone can check it is genuine by scanning its QR code or entering its ID at myskillgrid.com/verify. Until a skill reaches 70% it is a skill assessment record instead. It never shows your answers, resume, email or weak skills, and you can remove it any time in Settings. It is a practice assessment, not an academic or professional qualification.
Do I get anything for inviting friends?
Yes. Settings has your personal invite link. When a friend signs up with it and makes their first purchase, you get one free full mock interview 7 days later, once their purchase can no longer be refunded. It lasts 30 days, like pack credits, and you can earn up to 5 a month. If your friend's purchase is refunded, you don't get it.
Will the resume rewrite add fake experience?
No. It only rewords and restructures what is already in your resume. If an important skill is missing, it tells you instead of adding it.
Is my data kept private?
Your resume and answers are visible only to you, and we never sell your data. If you answer out loud, your recording is sent to our AI agent to be transcribed, then deleted; we keep only the text. If you join your institute's batch, the institute sees your readiness and scores, never your answers or resume.
Does this guarantee a job?
No tool can. Myskillgrid helps you practice, find your weak topics and present your experience clearly, so you walk into real interviews better prepared.
